PolyOne has an excellentopportunity for a Manufacturing Coordinator for the Avon Lake, Ohio SpecialtyEngineered Materials manufacturing facility.
General Summary
The Manufacturing Coordinator's positions responsibilities willinclude the following:
Print & coordinate all job packets. Ensureall required forms are present and included in the job packets. Disperse jobpackets to designated areas.
TECO/Close all production orders within therequired time periods to ensure inventory accuracy and proper movement ofgoods.
Interact with Supervisors, Planning &Engineers to provide job packet updates on a daily basis.
Assist in troubleshooting of systemtransactions. Ensure SAP/system transactions are completed correctly.
Maintain complete and accurate productionrecords in conformance with GMP/FDM/ISO and any other required standards.
Run required daily or weekly reports to verifydata integrity in SAP; provides requested reports as needed.
Responsible for maintaining the qualityinspection process for incoming raw materials, ensuring COA (certificates ofanalysis) are on hand for all required raw materials.
Responsible for purchasing & maintaininginventory levels for designated MRO (maintenance, repair & operations)supplies.
Participate in site safety activities.Continuously monitor work area for unsafe conditions and take immediate actionto correct unsafe condition.
Support and participate in continuous improvementactivities.
Ability to perform other duties as assigned.
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills and abilities listed below:
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years' experience in one or more of the following:
Production Coordination
Production Management/Supervision
Production/Manufacturing work
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work.
Ability to work effectively with all team members at all levels.
Good communication and problem solving skills.
Familiarity with internal production processes. Strong manufacturing process knowledge.
Ability to work overtime as necessary which may include extended shifts and weekends.
Strong computer skills including data entry. General knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, MS Excel, Word & Outlook in particular
Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Good attendance record.
Demonstrated good safety and quality practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with SAP or similar MRP/ERP system
Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and ISO requirements
Physical Requirements:
Normal manufacturing office environment.
Position may require frequent communication and walking to other areas (i.e. manufacturing floor) in which designated PPE will be required.
Position will require sitting, standing and walking frequently for 8 hour shifts.
Ability to lift 5-35 lbs, occasionally 55.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
