As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a pivotal role in upholding our standards of quality and reliability. Located at our Avon Lake, Ohio facility, you will ensure that our products meet or exceed customer requirements and industry standards.
Key
Responsibilities:
Ensure strict inspection and quality plans are adhered to, maintaining quality levels that surpass customer expectations.
Identify opportunities for enhancing inspection and quality plans, recommending modifications to improve efficiency and product quality.
Verify that all manufactured products meet specifications, conducting thorough inspections to uphold quality standards.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to investigate and resolve product non-conformances, implementing corrective actions.
Assist in addressing customer complaints promptly and effectively, striving to maintain high satisfaction levels.
Manage measurement devices, ensure their suitability and availability for inspections and tests, and maintain accurate calibration records.
Coordinate internal and external calibration activities for measurement devices, ensuring compliance with schedules and documentation requirements.
Support new product releases, participating in PPAPs and First Article Inspections to ensure compliance and quality.
Contribute to developing production and quality policies, representing quality assurance to support organizational objectives.
Assist in creating and maintaining work instructions to ensure clarity and alignment with quality standards.
Support internal audit activities, evaluating compliance with quality management systems and identifying areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certifications are preferred.
1-3 years in quality assurance within manufacturing, particularly in electrical or related industries.
Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate inspections.
Proficiency in measurement tools, testing equipment, and quality management software.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) is desirable.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
