30am-3pm 1st shift, 2nd shift and 3rd shift Production Operators Needed Starting hourly rate at $20-$21/hr.
Shift differential pay $1.

Day one Benefits including Medical, Dental and Vision, 401k (Company matching) Paid vacation, sick and holiday pay AND annual bonus Under the direction of the Shift Leader and Production Supervisor, the Production Associate is responsible for the set up and operation of equipment which blends/mixes/extrudes/packages/ transports the liquid or dry chemicals that comprise our customer products.
The Production Operator ensures the highest quality product at the lowest possible costs while meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements in accordance with Avient policies and procedures.
This position has openings available on 2nd Shift with typical 2nd shift hours of 2:

Monday through Friday.
We also have the occasional opportunity to work overtime with 10 or 12-hour shifts or weekends so flexibility is a must.
Demonstrates & meets qualification on blending, packaging, weighing operations & fork lift.
Demonstrates team work in all phases of operation.
Sets up and starts all machines, checking all controls for adherence to procedures.
Weighs ingredients to meet recipe specification and inserts into machinery.
Monitors production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Troubleshoots equipment and processing issues.
Operates machinery to mix, discharge or handle materials according to operating procedures.
Examines materials visually or physically to ensure conformance with established standards.
May take samples of materials to lab for evaluations and instructions.
Refers issues/problems to lead/supervisor for disposition.
Performs all required machine cleaning Completes and maintains all required computer inputs.
Responsible for data integrity.
Documents work completed as required including logs, data reports, procedures, etc.
Participates in training, retraining and continual improvement processes and methods.
Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.
Supports the vision, mission and guiding principles of the company.
Follows all rules, laws and procedures related to HS&E, ISO and other regulations.
Other projects / duties as assigned.
Qualifications - External Education and Experience US High School diploma or GED equivalency Two (2) years of industrial/manufacturing experience One (1) year experience operating a forklift preferred Additional Qualifications Must have mathematical skill to add, subtract, multiply and divide and to apply these skill to weights, measures of volume and distance.
Must effectively communicate in writing and verbally in English.
Competency in computer and PC software including email, internet, and MS office.
Must have manual dexterity for hand tools of various types.
Must be able to drive fork lift.
Must have problem solving skills and some mechanical aptitude.

Requires the use of safety equipment as dictated by the work area such as safety glasses and shoes, dust mask, hard hat, respirator, face shield, hearing protection, chemical suit, gloves, aprons, etc.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with the exception of high noise areas.
Proper personal safety equipment needs to be used while performing this job and that equipment is dictated by the plant safety guidelines.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, dust, fumes, airborne particles, chemical dust, and risk of electric shock, vibration, non-hazardous chemical agents and outside weather conditions.
Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles.
The employee is frequently exposed to vibration.
